Daniel Nault - The Man...

...Behind The Music Daniel, an accomplished singer, songwriter, musician, and father of three, often sings to his children to comfort them and help them sleep. One night, while singing lullabies, he realized that his children's multi-lingual skills were a direct result of his serenading them in different languages. Daniel then realized that parents and children all over the country could benefit from the opportunity to learn French or augment their skills. Daniel began to research children's favorite folksongs and all-time popular hits. He came up with a collection of 14 traditional pieces and 70's songs compiled on the first-ever French / English children's CD, "ABCDEFG". Parents and their children can connect while singing such pieces as Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Blowin' in the wind, Oh Suzanna, and Daniel's own Do you remember me. Music and singing provide the educational platform for parents and their children to spend quality time together - it's more interactive than television. Families are introduced to easy-to-learn French lyrics, and those with a basic understanding of the language can re-fresh and reinforce their skills. Daniel, a French-Canadian who has become known as "the singer with the soft voice", came to the United States 16 years ago. He spent 9 years in Florida before migrating to New York where he came up with this novel music approach: young kids learning the art of a second language through entertaining songs and music.
